This is a beautiful example of a Buddy L toy truck showing almost no wear. The body is depicting a 1940s truck. The paint and wheels are in great shape and roll as they should. This truck is man cave decor at it's best.
If you grew up after 1920, chances are good that you played with at least one Buddy L truck. These toys were originally pressed from the discarded metal left over after pressing car fenders. Buddy L trucks and trains came in many shapes and sizes including: dump trucks, delivery vans, fire engines and trains. Some were large enough for young kids to ride on top of. The "L" line of toys did very well and were sold in Marshal Field's and F.A.O. Schwarz. Buddy L toys were built until 2000.
