Reliable Toy Company was founded in the 1920s. They were originally known for their plush toys. Within a few years, they grew to be the largest manufacture of toys in the British Empire.
The effects of the great depression and WW2 took there toll on everything including toys. One case in point was the rubber toys made during this era. Rubber was needed for the war effort and production of the toys was diminished. In fact kids were asked to donate their rubber toys to help the troops.
